Michelle Corbin Hillman, CEO and Founder.
Michelle began her career and worked for several years as an editor at Town & Country magazine. In 1977, She decided to put her media skills to work in the marketplace and founded the firm Corbin-Hillman Communications For almost thirty years, Michelle has led the strong and innovative agency to deliver results that have made it a leader in the industry. She is respected as publicist extraordinaire, brand positioning and marketing strategist and media relations pro. Among her credits is a long list of victories in the marketplace. Included in the record of her brand building success are such clients as Oreo Cookies, Chips Ahoy, Jose Cuervo Tequila, Finlandia Vodka, Champagne Taittinger, Fred Leighton, Sephora, Shiseido, Art Expo and National Geographic.
Through her leadership and example, Michelle has ensured that her agency follows her guiding philosophy that her clients are her partners. She firmly believes in personal management and individualized concepts. She has incorporated the skills and expertise of her talented family to build a strong team committed to serving her clients.
Michelle was one of the founding members of the James Beard Foundation. For a decade, she penned the Food Column for Hudson Valley Magazine.
Sean-Patrick M. Hillman, Executive Vice President
Sean-Patrick literally grew up in the field of advertising and public relations. His father headed up hot creative ad shops in the seventies, eighties and nineties. His mother, Michelle Corbin Hillman, founded Corbin-Hillman Communications He began his career in his teens in the mailroom of Corbin and worked as a nightclub promoter at night. During his university studies, he focused on journalism, interning at The Charlie Rose Show and at CNN. He then worked as a business journalist for CNNfn, CNN’s financial news network, for three years.
Sean-Patrick joined Corbin-Hillman Communications full-time as an Account Executive in 1999. He became Account Supervisor in 2001 and Vice President and Account Director three years later. His account experience includes BACARDI, Jose Cuervo Tequila, Sephora, Shiseido, Barbie, Spice World Tour, fetish by Christina Aguilera, Supermodel Valeria Mazza, Artexpo New York, National Geographic, Bermuda Department of Tourism and several properties on St. Lucia. He leads initiatives in new business development and heads up the Food & Spirits as well as the Arts & Entertainment Division for the agency. Sean-Patrick is also a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and Public Relations Society of America.
