BACARDI B-LIVE

Corbin executed a full-scale integrated PR campaign for BACARDI® B-LIVE™ Miami, an innovative global concert series presented by BACARDI Rums. We utilized pre and post event media pitches, creative deliveries, and strategic on-site event execution to increase media and consumer recognition for the BACARDI B-LIVE experience. Notable acts included: Dave Navarro, DJ Mom Jeans aka Danny Masterson, Groove Armada and many more, with celebrity guests such as Molly Sims and Christina Milian. Television media, print and online coverage was secured both nationally and locally in top publications, generating the most memorable B-LIVE experience yet with a return of almost $2MM in media value.

Bermuda Music Festival

Coordinated all elements of publicity for Bermuda’s signature on-island concert event. PR activity included pre and post event publicity as well as on-site media relations. Corbin-Hillman secured celebrity and high profile guest attendees, orchestrated red carpet arrivals, interviews, photos opts and event premiums. Performers and celebrity guests included: Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Lionel Richie, Gabrielle Union, Regina King, Eric LaSalle, Smokey Robinson. Our efforts generated millions of dollars worth of media exposure and expanded the awareness of the island and its signature event.

Elegant Bride Launch at Bergdorf Goodman

Created, implemented and publicized the re-launch party of Elegant Bride Magazine, published by Pace Communications, at Bergdorf Goodman. We worked with the event’s hosts, Badgley Mischka, Preston Bailey and Sylvia Weinstock to create a spectacular night. Guests included stars from the fashion, bridal and publishing industries; such as Vera Wang, Colin Cowie and Amsale Aberra. The night was a huge success and received both national print and broadcast coverage.

Love, The Lower East Side

This Valentine’s Day shopping extravaganza, held at the Angel Orensanz Center, promoted the 400 businesses in the Lower East Side district of New York City and drove traffic to this downtrodden area. It served to introduce consumers to restaurants, retail shops, and makeup & beauty services, etc.

Spice World

Developed the media tour site and sponsor for the Spice Girls 50 State-tour. The event was sponsored by fetish. Worked in conjunction with Sony and Columbia Tri-Star Pictures.

Sephora

Promoted, publicized and coordinated beauty image campaign which included all 50 store openings.

200th Anniversary Jose Cuervo Tequila

Created bi-coastal events to showcase Jose Cuervo and its family of brands. These events featured stars of the culinary world such as Larry Forgione, Bradley Ogden, and Carmen Ramirez.

Finlandia Vodka Clean Water Challenge

Created, produced and publicized this unprecedented 1,000 mile kayak race from Chicago to New York City. The Challenge was an environmental program which raised funds to support the local community waterway preservation efforts and recreational use of our nation’s waters. It was the premier event in paddle sports and offered the largest purse in the sport. Finlandia’s sales increased 34% during the Challenge.

Nabisco/Ritz crackers “Puttin’ On The Ritz”

50th Birthday publicity campaign and a gala at The Waldorf Astoria. Campaign generated national broadcast and print media, which resulted in a 25% increase in Ritz sales.

Nabisco/Oreo Cookies

Developed and implemented national trade and consumer publicity program for Oreo cookies’ 75th Anniversary. Coordinated gala in New York for 600 guests. The campaign gained broad-based national coverage on The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, Johnny Carson, Merv Griffin, Late Night with David Letterman, etc., as well as print coverage throughout the U.S., skyrocketing Oreo sales.

Nabisco’s Alan King/Caesar’s Palace Tennis Grand Prix

Coordinated press for Nabisco’s first celebrity Tennis Tournament as sponsor of the men’s tennis circuit.

Maitres Cuisiniers de France

Mumm Champagne sponsored a four-city tour to introduce the prestigious French chefs (135 to be exact) to American regional cuisine. Dinners and press conferences were held in New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco and Las Vegas. The group included Paul Bocuse, Gaston Le Notre, Roger Verge and Paul Prudhomme. Corbin handled all press and event management.

March of Dimes Gourmet Gala

Developed the publicity for the prototype benefit, which has become an annual fundraiser.

Dong Kingman

Produced and coordinated media events in China and Japan to introduce Mr. Kingman’s art. This was the first time an American artist was invited to exhibit in China.

Metropolitan Opera Centennial Celebration at Lincoln Center

On behalf of Seagrams Corporate, we handled press and event coordination with two other major sponsors of the 100 years of the Metropolitan Opera House. This culminated in a dinner for thousands under a tent at Lincoln Center; guests were major opera stars, benefactors and international opera buffs. We developed mini events leading up to the grand evening to insure coverage of our clients participation and to generate advance increase interest in the main event as well.

Abbey Theatre of Ireland & National Theatre of Greece

Coordinated and promoted the US national tours of these two world-famous theatre groups.

Shenyang Acrobats and Wu-Shu Ballet

Coordinated all aspects of the first two cultural exchanges with The Peoples Republic of China. Each tour visited six US cities. Handled at top diplomatic level due to sensitive nature of our diplomatic relations at that time.

Heart Association

Served on media relations committee and board which coordinated the annual ball as well as developing awareness campaign.

Q.E. II

Publicized and coordinated a benefit dinner for 2,000 guests, sponsored by Seagrams for Wolff Trapp for The Performing Arts and Upward Fund.
